# License

> Devbook is licensed under MIT No Attribution (MIT-0). Copy, change and use the instructions in any project, commercial or not, without a notice.

Devbook's instruction files, stack notes, templates and site code are licensed under the **MIT No Attribution License** (SPDX: `MIT-0`).

## What this means

- **You can:** copy, change, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell the material, in personal or commercial projects.
- **You don't need to:** keep a copyright notice, credit Devbook or include this license in projects that copy the files, whether by submodule or by copy.
- **No warranty:** the material is provided as is. Review instructions before relying on them, especially for security, legal or compliance decisions.

## Why MIT-0

Projects load these files into their own repositories and agent context, word for word. A license that required attribution would make every project carry an extra notice. MIT-0 removes that friction and is still a recognised open-source license.
